Jiang Meets with HK, Macao Chief Executives
Chinese President
Jiang Zemin
met here Thursday with Chief Executive of the
Hong Kong
Special Administrative Region Tung Chee Hwa, and Edmund Ho Hau Wah, Chief Executive of the
Macao
Special Administrative Region.
Tung is here to attend the upcoming Economic Leaders' Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum while Ho has been invited to participate in the ongoing APEC CEO Summit.
Jiang had a cordial talk with Tung and Ho and they had breakfast together.
Also at the meeting were Chinese Vice Premier
Qian Qichen
and Liao Hui, director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council.
