APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting to Issue Anti-terrorism Statement: Tang

Chinese Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan said here Thursday said that the Economic Leaders' Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) will issue a statement on anti-terrorism to show their determination on combating terrorism.

Tang, co-chair of this year's APEC Ministerial Meeting, told reporters Thursday morning that the statement will make it clear that terrorists will receive just and legal punishment whenever and wherever they appear or whoever they target at.

Foreign ministers of APEC members have decided to report to the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting on their consensus on the issue, Tang said.
