Photo Center of APEC Host Attracts 200,000 Visitors in 3 Days

The Photo Center at www.apec- china.org.cn, the host website of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meetings, has attracted more than 200,000 visitors who have downloaded over 2,000 photos since Monday.

The on-line photo center is operated by staff of www.xinhuanet. com, the website of Xinhua News Agency.

The photo center is supported by the latest on-line photo transmission technology that makes it easy for users to view or download what they want by merely clicking the key words related to the title, text and date of a photo.

Technicians say they are working hard to keep the system operating well during APEC meetings.
