Seminar on Peace and Development in NE Asia Held in Changchun
The 10th International Conference on Peace and Development in Northeast Asia opened Wednesday in Changchun, the capital of northeast China's Jilin Province.
Experts and scholars from Canada, the United States, Russia and China will gather during the two-day event to explore new models of regional economic cooperation, discuss human resource development and the political affairs in northeast Asia.
The aim of the meeting is to further the research efforts in the area as well as promote regional cooperation in various fields.
The conference is jointly hosted by a research base under the Ministry of Education, Jilin University, the University of Toronto and York University of Canada.
