Shanghai Hosts Russian Oil Painting Exhibition

A ten-day exhibition featuring Russian modern realism oil paintings opened Monday in this metropolis in east China.

During October 15-24, 158 outstanding works by 23 famous Russian painters will be on display.

The exhibition is being sponsored by the city's painters' association, the Chinese art academy and a Russia-based charity foundation.
