URGENT: Kabul, Kandahar Under Fresh Attacks
Afghan capital of Kabul witnessed new bombardment on Saturday night, with the airport still being a target of the US-led air strike, the Al-Jazeera tv network reported.
Anti-aircraft gunfire appeared to be weaker than a few days ago, reports said.
The southern city of Kandahar, the stronghold of Taliban was under intense attack, the Pakistan-based Afghan Islamic Press reported.
