It is considered less dangerous than the inhaled form of anthrax found in Florida. FBI agent Hector Pesquera said at a press conference in Florida that more than 1,000 people were tested for anthrax in the state. Testing results of 965 people have returned, but no new exposures were found. He said the only person in that group to have tested positive was Stephanie Dailey, who said she is feeling fine and has returned to her job at the tabloid publishing company affected by the anthrax episode. She's being treated with antibiotics. Dailey is a colleague of the two other employees exposed to anthrax at the company, including one man who died recently. |
