Six People Wounded in Anti-US Protests in Karachi

Six people were wounded when Islamic militants in Karachi, the second biggest city of Pakistan, fired on police Friday when violent anti-U.S. protests spread through the city, according to news reaching here.

About 20,000 people held running battles with police in various parts of Karachi Friday in protest against the U.S.-led bombing of Afghanistan which began on Sunday.
