Sino-Armenian Joint Venture Project on Rubber Signed

A 827-million-yuan (US$100 million) Sino-Armenian joint venture project on synthetical rubber was signed on Friday in Beijing.

China's Shanxi Synthetical Rubber Group Co. Ltd and Armenia's Nairit Company signed the contract, which is the largest joint investment made by the two countries since China established diplomatic relations with Armenia ten years ago.

According to the contract, the two parties will build a rubber production project with an annual capacity of 3,000 tons of rubber in north China's Shanxi Province.
