An international symposium on cooperation between regions along the Eurasian Continental Bridge closed Thursday in Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province.
Over 300 representatives from countries along the Eurasian Continental Bridge and international organizations discussed an international coordinating mechanism between Eurasian continental areas and information realization of cities along the bridge, and two memorandums were reached.
The two-day symposium was hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, the Ministry of Information Industry, and the United Nations Development Program.
The 10,000-km Asia-Europe continental bridge, known as a new Silk Road, links Lianyungang Port in east China with Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
