Dundee Confirms to Sign Chinese Fan
Scottish premier league side Dundee confirmed on Wednesday that they are in discussions with Crystal Palace over the possible signing of Chinese defender Fan Zhiyi.
The 31-year-old helped his country qualify for the World Cup finals with a victory over Oman at the weekend and player-manager Ivano Bonetti believes he is the answer to their worrying defensive problems.
The Dens Park outfit have conceded 17 goals in the Premier League this season and last night crashed out of the CIS Insurance Cup with a 2-1 defeat at First Division Ross County.
A Dundee spokesman said: "Talks are progressing and hopefully a deal can be concluded in the very near future."
