Tibetan Delegation Leaves for Inland Tour

A delegation of people in Tibet left Beijing Wednesday for an inspection tour of well-developed inland provinces.

The delegation of more than 30 ethnic minority people, religious figures and non-Communist intellectuals from seven prefectures and cities in Tibet will visit Fujian, Guangdong, Beijing and other localities to add to their experiences of economic development, sources said.

They will exchange views with people in the target regions on issues of mutual concern.

The Tibet Autonomous Region and relevant departments of the central government have organized similar tours annually.
