Iraq Says It Shoots Down US Spy Plane

Iraqi anti-aircraft forces on Wednesday shot down an unmanned US spy plane over southern Iraq, Iraqi TV reported.

The plane, crossing into Iraqi airspace from US bases in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, was downed when it flew over the southern no-fly zone, the report said.
