Beijing May Become the "Fattest" City: Expert

During the just ended October 1-7 national holidays many travelers took weight-losing pills with them, which made them to have loose bowels, knowing that they are not strong enough to reject delicious food on their tours.

As reported, on the eve of the holidays many girls went to hospitals for weight-losing pills. They were quite "professional" in choosing a certain kind of pills that helps to check fat absorbing by the bowels, doctor said.

"I am afraid of gaining weight after the holidays while I don't want to miss delicious food, so I have to rely on pills", a miss Sun said.

Every year saw increased number of patients after long holidays, doctor from Tongren Hospital says.

While statistics show Beijing has the biggest percentage of corpulent people. If the situation is not checked, Beijing may become the "fattest" city, expert warns.
