Shanghai Holds Hypertension Prevention Activities
A series of large-scale activities on hypertension prevention will be held in
Shanghai
from Monday to Saturday.
Shanghai has opened two physical examination centers in the community and is providing free testing for the diagnosis of hypertension. All Shanghai communities have now received the video tapes on hypertension prevention and control issued by the municipal disease prevention and control center.
Over 100 million Chinese suffer from hypertension and 1.2 million of them are in Shanghai.
