Chinese Flotilla Ends Visit to France
Two Chinese naval ships, a missile destroyer Shenzhen and a supply ship Feng Cang, have ended their visit to France on October 7 and left the military port of Brest for Italy, the fourth and last leg of the goodwill visit.

Chinese minister-counsellor to France and military attach��, as well as the commander of the Atlantic Military Region of French navy landed on "Shenzhen" and reviewed the guard of honor of the Chinese navy. Chinese people in France, holding national flags of both countries, waved goodbye to Chinese sailors.

During their stay Chinese sailors, led by Rear-Admiral Wu Fuchun, chief of staff of China's East Sea Fleet, met French navy officers and visited navy base of French. They also held friendship sport matches with French Navy members.

In an interview by Chinese and French journalists, Wu says the visit has brought Chinese people's greetings and respects to French people and we've also felt the sincerity from our French counterparts, and we hope people of the two countries would join hands to make contribution to world peace.


Chinese Flotilla Ends Visit to France
Visits between Chinese and French navies started over 20 years ago, and since then French fleet has visited China for seven times.
