Japanese PM Ends Visit to China

Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi left Beijing for home Monday afternoon, following his one-day working visit to China.

After his arrival Monday morning, the prime minister visited the Lugou (Marco Polo) Bridge and the Memorial Hall of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.

In the afternoon, Chinese President Jiang Zemin and Premier Zhu Rongji met Koizumi, respectively.
