Tyre Factory Operational in Northwest ChinaA tyre production line with the capacity to produce 300,000 heavy-duty tyres a year was put into operation Sunday in Yinchuan, capital city of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northwest China.The production line at the Yinchuan Great Wall Tyre Co., Ltd. is a result of a national key technical upgrading project that was started in September 1999 and has cost 800 million yuan. Key equipment of the production line was imported from overseas and is internationally advanced, company officials said. The production line is the first of its kind in northwest and north China, the sources added. |
