Farce Art Festival to Be Held in Tianjin
An international farce art festival, the first of its kind in the world, will be held on November 7-11 in Tianjin, north China.
Farce artists from China and 15 other countries including France, the United States, Britain and Russia, will attend the festival and give performances.
The farce performances will mainly exist in three forms -- acrobatics, circus and magic.
Six farce contests will be held during the festival, and some world-famous farce performers will be invited to act as judges.
Programs have to be chosen strictly before being recommended to the festival, to ensure they reflect the new achievements in modern farce art.
