Telephone Cards Issued to Welcome APECAn assortment of telephone cards were issued Saturday to mark the upcoming Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) activities scheduled in October in this east China metropolis.The APEC-themed cards will offer both long-distance and local call access to people. Each card is printed with pictures of major venues of the APEC meetings, and the Shanghai skyline at night. At the issuing ceremony, Shanghai Telecom Corp., which is providing the cards, donated cards with the face value of 500,000 yuan (over US$60,200) to the APEC meetings organizing committee. |
