Chinese Wins Men's 500m Speedskating Title
Li Jiajun of China won the gold medal of men's 500m speedskating on the second day of the World Cup short course speed skating championships at Nagano on Saturday.
Li edged Takafumi Nishitani of
Japan
to win the gold medal with a time of 43.143 seconds. Nishitani took the silver medal at 43.264, followed by Kim Dong-Sung of South Korea in the third place at 43.333.
The women's 500m race was won by Joo Min-jin of South Korea who was timed at 45.100 seconds.
