Li Peng Condoles Over Death of Mongolian Great Hural Chairman
China's top legislator Li Peng on Saturday sent a letter of condolence to Mongolia's State Great Hural (parliament) on the death of its Chairman Lhamsurengyn Enebish.
Enebish, as a famous statesman in Mongolia and also an old friend of the Chinese people, has made valuable contributions to the development of the good neighborly ties between China and Mongolia, said Li, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC).
The NPC is willing to join hands with the State Great Hural of Mongolia for the further development of bilateral ties and the friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two parliaments, Li said.
