Chinese Embassy Holds Exhibition on Achievements of China
The Chinese Embassy in Cambodia Friday held an exhibition on great achievements made by China in the past year.
The selected 55 photos on show hailed the great achievements made by China and the changes of the Chinese people.
Visitors highly praised China's policy of reform and opening-up that enables China to march triumphantly along the path of peace and development and rapidly move towards prosperity and success.
During the period between the autumn of 2000 and the end of the summer of 2001, China has successfully completed the Ninth Five- Year Plan on National Economic and Social Development as planned, and witnessed a good start of the strategic development of the western part of China.
The year of 2001 is the first year for China to implement the Tenth Five-Year Plan on the National Economic and Social Development, as well as to carry out the strategy of readjusting economic structures, improve socialist market economic system and expand opening up.
The photos also displayed in detail the changes in the life and the happiness of the Chinese people.
Currently, some 300 people from the Association for Cambodian Chinese in Cambodia, the China Hong Kong & Macao Business Association of Cambodia, and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia have seen the exhibition.
