HIV/AIDS Research Center Operational in Shanghai
A HIV/AIDS research center went into operation Tuesday in this east China metropolis.
Specialists both from home and abroad are welcome to participate in the center's academic research efforts and application of new technologies and new methods to combat the disease.
Statistics show that
Shanghai
now has some 390 people who are HIV-positive, including 48 AIDS patients.
