China Reiterates Stance on Anti-terrorism Issue

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Zhu Bangzao stressed again Tuesday that China opposes terrorism of any form and supports the fight against terrorism.

The Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in the US demonstrate that terrorism has posed a great threat to the world peace and stability, and has become a common danger, Zhu said at a regular press conference.

The international community shares wide-ranging consensus on the issue of anti-terrorism, Zhu said, adding that the Chinese government supports all the efforts to strike back against terrorism and is willing to conduct dialogues and cooperation with the international community to secure success in anti-terrorism efforts.
