China Sees First Product Line of Ultrathin Glass
Luoyang Float Glass Group (LFGG) has set up a production line to make 0.6-millimeter thick float glass with its own technique.
The ultrathin glass is widely used for limousine windows and in the electronic industry, and can replace imported glass, said the experts.
LFGG, in central China's Henan Province, has adopted the world' s latest advanced technology in its new line.
China's biggest and fully automatic float glass production center, LFGG now has seven float glass production lines.
The company has a yearly output of 15 million standard boxes of high-quality float glass.
