At Least One Explosion Rocks Southern French City of Toulouse
At least one explosion rocked a plant near the southern French city of Toulouse, apparently causing serious damage and an unspecified number of injuries, radio reported.
France Info Radio reported that an explosion took place in Toulouse at a plant that manufactures fuel for Arianespace, the European Space Agency's commercial arm.
The report also said a second explosion took place inside a shopping center.
Witnesses told The Associated Press that hundreds of people fled into the streets after hearing at least one explosion. The cause was not immediately known. Police and rescuers were dispatched to the scene.
