Chinese Airline Offers Free Tickets to APEC Organizer
China Eastern Airlines Co. has promised to donate international and domestic tickets valued at one million yuan to participants of the upcoming APEC economic leaders' meeting.
Wu Yulin, vice-president of the
Shanghai
-based airlines, has signed an agreement to the effect with the preparatory committee of the meeting recently.
Twenty-nine other companies in China are also committed to supporting the meeting.
Leaders of the member economies of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) are scheduled to meet in Shanghai next month.
