The growth rate is 10 percentage points higher than the national average for the same period, said Zhao Shangwu, deputy director of the Tianjin Municipal Economic and Trade Commission.

Zhao said new and high-tech products accounted for 23 percent of the total export, eight percentage points higher than the national average.
