Chinese Oil Tanker Collides with Container Carrier
A Chinese oil tanker loaded with 8,600 tons of diesel oil collided with a container carrier of
Greece
origin early Thursday morning near Xiamen, a coastal city in Southeastern China.
The tanker has sunk and the 22 shipmen have been saved.
The carrier has anchored in safety.
Concerned Chinese departments are working to check possible oil leakage.
