Lufthansa Technik Strengthens Cooperation with China
The Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen Co. Ltd will start operation by the end of this year, according to Andreas Meisel, vice president of marketing and sales at Lufthansa Technik.
He said Wednesday that the new company will mainly provide the overhaul of high-grade airframe-related components, including engines and composite components.
By then, the company's customers will include Chinese airlines and some Asian airlines.
Back in 1999, Lufthansa Technik signed an agreement with the Shenzhen Investment Holding Corporation and the Beijing Kailan Aviation Technology Company, thus laying a solid foundation for the long-term collaboration.
