China's Air Passenger Volume to Grow by Four Times in Twenty Years

In the next twenty years, China's air passenger volume will rise at an average annual rate of 8.3 percent.

And in twenty years time, the volume will be four times that of 2000. according to a market outlook report released Wednesday by the China Aviation Industry Corporation I.

The report holds that China's entry into the World Trade Organization, the policy to develop the western regions, Beijing's preparation for the 2008 Olympics and the restructuring of domestic airlines will further promote the aviation market.
