At Wednesday's closing session, Jing Shuping, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, and chairman of the organization committee, hailed the success of the meeting, saying that globalization has been a common aspiration for Chinese businesspeople worldwide and the convention has become a non- government forum for promoting world peace.
