Chinese Buses Make Their Way to Malta

Specially-designed Chinese King Long buses made their way to Malta recently.

A senior official with China's Xiamen King Long United Automotive Industry Co. Ltd made the remark Tuesday.

The buses use environment-friendly engines which have met the Second European Emission Standard.

In 1997, the Maltese government looked at buying high-grade buses all over the world. After comparisons, they finally chose King Long because of their shape and competitive price.

Technicians from two nations exchanged their views in the model-design and finished that in two years.

King Long corporation, which was founded in 1988, has become one of the leading companies in China's bus industry with the highest sales income last year.
