China Hosts Young Fashion Designers Contest
The final results of the 2001 "Dalian Cup" China National Young Fashion Designers Competition were announced in Dalian City Sunday evening.
Zeng Fengfei, a young fashion designer from east China's Xiamen City, won the gold prize for the "fairy tale of winter" -- design of children's clothing sets.
Silver prizes went to four designers from Guangzhou in south China and this coastal city in northeast China for their two respective outstanding fashion designs.
The competition, which was titled "new millennium, new conception and new garments", attracted 807 young designers from nationwide, displaying 784 fashion works.
