South Korea to Send Leading Players to HK Badminton Open

South Korea will send its leading players to the Hong Kong Badminton Open from 26-30 September, local organizers told a press conference Monday.

South Korea's world number thirteen Jun Jae Yeon (women's single), world number five Kim Dong Moon / Ra Kyung Min (mixed double), and number twelve Lee Dong Soo / Yoo Yong Sung (men's double) would take part in the open according to Tong Yun Kai, president of the Hong Kong Badminton Association.

They will be joined by more than hundred players from Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Macao, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, England, U.S.A., Vietnam and the host Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Open is one of a series of the World Grand Prix Championships sanctioned by the International Badminton Federation, the governing body of world badminton.
