HK Business Tycoon Calls for Close Business CooperationHong Kong business tycoon Henry Ying Tung Fok Monday called for a close cooperation in business activities among entrepreneurs of Chinese origin around the world, saying China's economic growth provides a good opportunity for all in the new century.Fok, who is vice chairman of the National Committee of the 9th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, was addressing the Sixth World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention that opened Monday morning in Nanjing. He spoke highly of the achievements entrepreneurs of Chinese origin scattering around the world. Within the legitimate scope of the localities, they adapted themselves to the local environment and worked hard, he said. Fok also asked them to live in harmony with nationals, but not being assimilated or losing dignity. The business tycoon urged participants to make unremitting efforts to improve themselves as conditions change and make due contribution to the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
