The US Consulate General in
Hong Kong
was closed to the public on Monday to assess the current security posture, according to a press release issued by the consulate on Sunday.
The US Consulate General in Hong Kong announced it would be closed to assess the current security posture in light of the World Wide Caution issued September 12, 2001.The announcement said a decision to re-open the consulate would be made at a later date.
