Mexico's Airlines to Resume Flights to US

The Mexican air carrier " Aeromexico" is set to resume late Saturday its US-bound commercial flights suspended by Tuesday's suicide plane attacks on the United States.

The Mexican flag carrier said in a communique it will resume its flights to the US soil on Saturday, among them, two toward New York City, three to Los Angeles, two to Miami, two to Phoenix, one to Houston and one to Ontario.

In the wake of Tuesday's terror attacks, the US authorities closed their air space on Tuesday. Hundreds of flights were suspended and thousands of passengers remained stranded in different Mexican cities.

Aeromexico indicated that security procedures will be tightened at all airports. Passengers are asked to carry an official identification with photos and present themselves two hours before traveling on domestic flights and three hours on international ones.
