Sixth WCEC Lures Record Participation
The sixth World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention (WCEC), scheduled to open on September 17, has attracted an unprecedented number of people from at home and abroad, the organizing committee said.
A total of 3,300 business people from 103 overseas Chinese organizations in 77 countries and regions will attend the convention along with 1,435 domestic entrepreneurs.
The convention, to be held in this capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, aims to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the business communities of Chinese origin worldwide.
This year marks the first time for the convention to be held in the Chinese mainland.
