Terrorism Suspect Held in Canada

Canadian authorities continued to hold a man Saturday in the country's biggest city of Toronto, who may be linked to this week's terrorist attacks in the United States, it was reported in Ottawa.

The man, who was being questioned by immigration, police and the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, was apparently aboard a US-bound plane diverted to Toronto's airport.

Police confirmed Friday that the man was detained after he was found with "materials of interest -- photos and a flight jacket."

However, a police officer did not want to confirm reports that the man carried a Palestinian Authority travel document and a picture of himself in a flight crew uniform against a fake backdrop of the World Trade Center in New York.
