Ford Donates Van to School for Mentally Handicapped

Ford Motor (China) Company and the British Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai jointly donated a 17-seat van to a local school for mentally handicapped kids on Friday.

The recipient of the vehicle, Luwan Special Education Needs School, offers schooling and rehabilitation for children with mental disabilities.

Ford and the Shanghai Chamber of Commerce donated the same model of van to a Shanghai orphanage last year.

Cheng Meiwei, CEO of Ford China, said the company cares not only about manufacturing cars, but also serving the welfare of society.
