News Center for Sixth WCEC Put into Service

The news center for the 6th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention (WCEC) was put into service Friday.

A total of 200 reporters from domestic and overseas media have registered to cover the convention, including those from the United States, Japan, Britain, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, a news center spokesman said.

The convention will open September 17 in this capital of east China's Jiangsu Province.

The organizer of the convention set up two media release centers in the Nanjing International Convention Center, the main venue for the 6th convention, and the Fenghuangtai Hotel where reporters are quartered.

The news center will provide services such as TV programming, computers, communications, and wireless Internet access, according to the organizers.
