Beijing Mayor Meets Taiwanese Entrepreneurial Delegation

Mayor Liu Qi met here Friday members of an influential
Taiwan
-based entrepreneurs' organization who are on a business tour in the Chinese mainland.
The mayor briefed the guests on the city's preparations for hosting the
2008 Olympic Games
and the city's development plan for next ten years.
He said the Chinese capital will be built into a modern international metropolis, and the massive construction needs will provide Taiwanese entrepreneurs many opportunities to start up businesses in the mainland.
