Exhibition on Japanese Invasion Opens

An exhibition reminding people of the Japanese invasion of China's northeast provinces on September 18, 1931, opened Wednesday in Shenyang, this capital of northeast Liaoning Province.

This year is the 70th anniversary of the September 18 invasion, and many commemorative activities were staged in Shenyang and other parts of the province.

The exhibition includes 200 photographs and objects of the time that explain the invasion, events that led up to it and its aftermath.
