US Embassy in Paris Closes
The
United States
Embassy in Paris Tuesday announced its closure to public and called on all American nationals in
France
to be on high alert following the terrorist attacks that hit World Trade Center in New York and U.S. Defense Ministry in Washington D.C. hours ago.
"American nationals should be extremely vigilant and take appropriate measures to reinforce their security," announced the embassy in a statement.
Offices of the embassy and consulates in France will stay open on Wednesday, but not open to public visit until further notice, said the embassy.
