Seminar on China's Peaceful Reunification Held in Beijing

A seminar on China's peaceful reunification was held recently in Beijing by the China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification (CCPPR) and the National Association of Chinese Unification of Thailand.

Zhang Kehui, CCPPR director, said overseas Chinese remain an important force to promote China's reunification and economic development. Overseas Chinese, including those living in Thailand, show great determination to fight against the forces preaching Taiwan independence, he added.

Statistics show that nearly 100 such organizations promoting China's reunification have been formed in 58 countries and regions, indicating overseas Chinese's aspirations for an early reunification of the motherland.
