854 Million US Dollars Worth of Trade Deals Clenched at Xiamen Fair

By midday Tuesday, some 854 million U.S. dollars worth of foreign trade deals had been clenched at the Fifth China International Investment and Trade Fair, which opened on September 8 in this port city of Xiamen in east China.

Of the total, contractual exports amounted to 755 million U.S. dollars, up 40 percent from the same period of the previous session.

So far, a total of 1,526 deals have been inked at the investment and trade fair involving a total investment worth 12.8 billion U.S. dollars with 10.6 billion U.S. dollars of foreign funds.

The number of projects with an investment of more than 10 million U.S. dollars each signed at the fair totaled 272.
