Expansion of Japanese-Funded Primary School Completed in Tibet

ese Buddhist abbot, was held Thursday at the Nyangrain Township Primary School in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's
Tibet
Autonomous Region.
The school was set up in 1959 and now has 271 pupils.
The expansion project cost a total investment of 2.21 million yuan, of which the Japanese abbot provided 1.09 million yuan. The remainder came from the governments of the region, Lhasa City and Chengguan District.
