Local customs and industrial and commercial administrations in south China's Guangdong Province launched a crackdown on trade mark violations of exports this year, showing positive results.
From January to July, Guangdong customs uncovered 32 cases involving trade mark violations or infringements of patent rights or copyrights, with an estimated value of 2.93 million yuan (about US$353,000).
Last month, Guangdong customs also joined hands with Hong Kong customs in dealing with violations of patent rights and smuggling activities, and they have successfully blocked a series of criminal activities.
